Business cards

After showing the client examples of business cards, they explained that they liked this style and wanted the background pattern to be of blueprints.

These are a few business cards in which I appreciate.
I think the design below is clever in the way it incorporates the ruler on the side, linking an aspect of the work this company does. I've seen this idea once before and wish I came up with it!!

I think the below design is incredibly tasteful and has a professional finish. The typeface is really original and although it is not appropriate for a larger body of text it works really well here. Im amazed at how much a simple emboss can change the 'feel' of the design layout and execution.

Blueprints

I've been looking at architecture business cards for inspiration.

I like the simplicity of the above 'elemental architecture' business card. The embossing & choice of grey card really works well to give a satisfying, professional look.

The above business card holder is really effective, the design could be adapted for 'blueprint' on the back of the business cards which would communicate precision and accuracy, although perhaps also too clinical as my previous designs.

I love this Idea; something more interactive and attention grabbing.

Below are blueprints I've been looking at for further ideas in terms of the use of patterns and colour palettes.

Logos

Since I'm designing the branding and identity for 'Blueprint property development', I've been looking at other logos for tips and inspiration. I appreciate these because of their clever use of positive and negative space and use of type design. The below logos were found on:
